Why does java notice keep popping up constantly (every 5 seconds) after i uninstall limewire pro?

go to add/remove programs in control panel and unistall your current version of java. then go to www.sunmicrosystems.com and download the newest version of jave and install. It actually sounds like you deleted the program, but didn't use the right procedure to uninstall, so you might want to see if there is an option to unistall using add/remove programs in control panel
Reply:ok, sounds to me like ye haven't finished the job, if ye don't know how to navigate into yer system file, click any folder, or internet explorer bar, and type, C:\Program Files\LimeWire\ that'll send you to that folder, once there, click the up arrow, located above, that'll send you out of that into the program files, and delete the limewire folder completely, that'll sort out yer problem
